We fight to protect them
We haven’t sighted any ourselves but it’s a fact: across the border with Poland, wolves have been returning to Germany since 1998 and now live here – 150 years after becoming extinct. Just a short drive from Berlin, in the Lausitz region and in Sachsen-Anhalt to be precise, there are 14 groups with around 28 adult animals plus new blood. 13 single wolves also move in the states of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Hessen and Bayern but it’s not a quiet life for the new arrivals. There are prejudices and conflicts. There’s no overall concept for a coexistence of man and wolf.
DIEMEDIAFABRIK fights for the return of that animal minority – that’s our contribution to protecting nature. We wish for the wolf to feel at home in Germany. We believe he deserves it.
